Rough Draft Final Project- Jessica Mason

What makes a place special to you? Maybe it was something that happened there or something that didn’t happen there. Maybe it was a place you felt free or a place you felt comfortable. In my pictures I want to portray how perspectives are changed with places when one person sees it as a special spot vs an outsider looking in. One photo is the outsider’s perspective and the one next to it is a totally different angle of how someone else would look at that specific area or place. Most people might just see mountains but to another’s perspective it is a refuge, a hiding spot, and a place they call home. I want viewers to see the difference when things are far away and when they get a closer perspective on something they may know nothing about. Don’t judge a book by its cover and don’t judge a place by its landscape.
