FT- 9 mile - Hunter Clark

these pictrues I liked because of it refection of the mountiains with the water and the snow and skyline.

FT 9 mile - Carson Brewerton

I wanted to capture the reflections of the mountains in the water and the mountain right above it. This wasn't always to easy to get because of the riffles in the water form the wind.

In class I have said that my eyes are drawn to lines. So to keep up with that I thought that I would stay with that because they truly are drawn to lines. in my pictures I had them a little bit over exposed because we are dealing with snow. I wanted to going for nice crisp detail on the the snow and in the ice.

FT 9 Mile Res -Kamilla Earlywine

As I was out walking around this morning at Nine Mile Reservoir, my eyes were drawn to the little details on the ground. I became really interested in the mini landscape, and wanted to explore that more fully. I started off photographing the plants that were sticking out of the snow. I wanted to find signs of life where everything was cold and frozen. I then started to notice the different textures of the rocks, and when I got even closer, I saw the lichen in orange, green, black, and white and I knew that was what I wanted to focus on for this project. I decided to use my 100mm macro lens to magnify the tiny details and allow me to get a closer look. I looked for lichen that appeared in interesting patterns and complimented the texture of the rock upon which it was growing. I tried to compose each image almost as if it were a painting, by paying attention to the lines, patterns, colors, and shapes.

FT, 9 mile- Marina Brown

Rocks
In this photo I took it up close. It was a little different from the other ones because I really liked the mountains where we were, but this picture was just so simple and nice. So I like this one for its simplicity.

This one is cool because it has the mountains in it and a rock. I was a little worried that there is too much happening in the picture, but it turned out really nice. I think one thing I would have changed is make it a better focus on the rock, maybe a slightly different angle.

This one is just a closer version of the second one. I wanted to get a picture that really showed the rock for its beauty, but also the mountains behind it. The rocks in front kind of made me feel like they were little mountains and further on there are the big mountains. It just kind of helped me make a connection to the mountains and to the rocks. That way, to me, the picture feels connected.
