land installation reagan

Vision - Taylor Jennings

The arch up maple canyon. Shoot below the arch looking up. Go late afternoon when the lighting is better. Might not be the greatest lighting due to all the foliage. Shutter speed does not matter all that much. Just enough to capture the image without motion. Want a deep depth of field, small aperture, focus remaining on the arch with enough to see the background. ISO set on 100 unless lighting becomes an issue.

Vision -- Aften Ritzman

~First big bend in the Emerald Pools Trail in Zion National Park
~Sun coming from the end of the canyon
~River coming from the bottom middle toward mid right
~Cliffs lining the top, minimal sky
~Light reflecting on the river
~ISO 100 due to high sunlight
~Wide depth of feild
~Fast shutter speed

Vision: Yukiko Miyazawa

The East back roads up on a hill. Image of the mountains with a mini valley in the late afternoon when the sun is more to the West. Use that light for natural lighting. Plan on balancing out the sky, valley, and mountain. If composition doesn't work, look behind to see if there is a trail and get a mountain range in it. Use a large aperture and medium to low ISO. Faster shutter to avoid motion/camera shake, but not too fast for the sake of exposure.
(The sky, valley, mountain didn't work for me. So went with plan two.)

Vision- Jessica Mason

On top of a hill with fields in the foreground and mountains in the background. A shaggy tree will be in the side of the frame. The sunset will be in the background. Since it will be bright with the sun I want a lower ISO and will want to follow the sunny F16 rule. Shutter speed doesn't matter too much, just fast enough so there isn't any camera shake.
